Touches of wonder

I love watching clouds, observing sunrises, and chasing sunsets. And I’m not quiet about it. Recently on the way to school, my 8-year-old grandson exclaimed, “Gramma, look at the sky!” Sunbeams had burst from clouds like spotlights. It really was spectacular, and I said so. He said, “Yeah, and I never noticed stuff like that before I met you.” I laughed because, let’s face it, that was a cute comment, but deep down I rejoiced. He is noticing God’s creation. He is recognizing the beauty around Him. I think when we notice and exclaim over the touches of wonder God places in our pathway every day, we please Him. His work is awe-inspiring! Let Him know you appreciate it.
