Two and a half years ago a dear saint named Diann Hunt graduated to Heaven after a courageous fight with cancer. I hate cancer, and I hated that this woman—this lovely, vivacious, oh-so-loved woman—contracted the disease. But I can honestly say Diann taught me a great deal about leaning on the Lord’s strength, about maintaining a positive outlook in the hardest time, about refusing to let go of hope. And I would imagine I’m not the only person who was inspired and encouraged by Diann’s battle. God prepared her for that battle, and she prepared herself by walking faithfully at His side from the time she was a small child. Through her I witnessed His power in human flesh, and He was glorified in her life. We all have a purpose—and showing HIM to others is our greatest purpose. Stand strong, dear Christians. This world needs to see the Father glorified.
