Take it to the Father

Social media has its perks (instant communication with people you wouldn’t otherwise have a chance to know, awareness of important news events, close contact with family who live afar…), but as with anything, there are cons as well as pros. One of the biggest cons, in my opinion, is the ease in launching a complaint or concern to a host of people. Now, don’t misunderstand me–I’m not saying it’s wrong to seek support or advice from friends or family. But with “all those people” at the other end of our computer’s reach, sometimes we overlook the One who deeply cares and holds the victory for all of life’s conflicts. I wonder what would happen if, instead of going to Facebook, we took those frustrations and worries to the Father instead? What would it do for our relationship with Him? Something to ponder…
