Lately I’ve had a little bit of a health challenge–nothing untreatable, thankfully, but just something that interferes with my daily living. My new medication and exercise regime made me think of the time we spend trying to keep our physical bodies healthy. But what about our spiritual bodies? Is your “spirit” healthy? Are you treating your spirit to daily doses of God’s Word, weekly visits to God’s house, and frequent communication with God? These are the things that keep our spiritual body healthy. There’s nothing wrong with caring for our physical body, but let’s also be cautious about taking good care of our spiritual body, too.
