If we know the truth (and we can know the truth by reading the Bible, God’s inerrant words), we have an obligation to share it. People are lost! If we knew someone was about to fall over a cliff to his death, would we think, “Oh, grabbing him would offend him” and let him fall? Of course not–that would be heartless. But when we refuse to share the truth, we’re essentially allowing the lost to face eternal separation from God. We must be open before God. We must be open before men. Not to condemn or to judge but to convict and to save. We persuade by speaking the truth in LOVE.
