Slow to Anger

James1.19b

Anger is one of the most destructive forces on earth. Anger destroys relationships, stirs bitterness, and can lead us to perform deeds we later regret. James was wise in advising believers to be slow to anger. When we take the time to listen and then to THINK before we speak, we will build up one another rather than break each other down. Two ears, one mouth–maybe there’s a reason for that, huh?
