Have you ever been driving with someone who bumped a curb with one of the car’s tires and then muttered, “Curb check–it’s there”? It’s kind of joke with The Hubs and me. We don’t need to make curb checks, but occasionally we should make a self-check and ask if someone unexpectedly “bumped into” us in a store or at work or in our home, would they see that the Spirit is intact? Do I reflect Him in my words, my actions, my attitudes? Do I live as I claim to believe? When we truly put Jesus first, those “curb checks” will reveal Him.
