Are you a night-time worrier? I don’t know what happens sometimes, but I lay down to sleep and immediately my brain starts tripping through all kinds of things that are not conducive for peaceful rest. I have found an antidote for the night-time worries. It’s found in Isaiah 26:3—”You will keep the mind that is dependent on You in perfect peace, for it is trusting in You.” Instead of remembering your worries, remember He’s there. Think about HIM, how powerful He is (bigger than any problem, that’s for sure!) and how present He is. When the night closes in and worry descends, remember the One who never sleeps and is always available to you. Trust Him to carry you through the night.
