Live as children of Light

Those of us who claim to be Christians have an awesome responsibility to live in the Light. Our deeds should reflect the One who saved us. Our actions, attitudes, and the words we speak should point others to our Father-God. We can do it because we aren’t operating on our own strength, but on His. Philippians 1:6 tells us that He who began a good work in us will be faithful to complete it. Completion comes the day we leave our physical body in death or the day Jesus returns. Either way, we will see Him, and when we stand before Him, I want to be #notashamed of how I used my fleeting time on earth. Oh, to hear those glorious words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Seek to plant seeds of kindness. Choose compassion over criticism. Pray pray pray and proclaim Him as the only way for true and lasting contentment and joy. Let’s not waste a minute of this life we’ve been given. We are HIS. Live as children of Light.
