We cannot deny that evil runs rampant in this fallen world, BUT we can depend on God’s ever-presence. He promised to never leave us nor forsake us. That doesn’t mean we won’t face hardship, trials, or heartache. Men’s evil choices will affect us, but they cannot defeat us. They cannot rob us of our salvation, of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling, or of our Father’s deep love; they cannot force us to wallow in sin with them; they cannot steal our hope…unless we let them. In moments when despair or temptation strikes, call His Name. There is power in the Name of Jesus! A power greater than any in this world. He is near. Lean on Him.
