When hardships–unexpected events, losses we don’t understand, tragedy–affect us, we have two choices: turn our backs on faith or stand firm on what we’ve learned about faith. When we choose the former rather than the latter, we leave ourselves floundering in our own strength. I don’t know about you, but I’m a weakling. As I sing with my grandchildren, “…they are weak, but He is strong. Yes, Jesus loves me…” Jesus loves us. That doesn’t mean we won’t face difficult situations, but it does mean He will be there to carry us through. Hold on to your faith! JESUS’s love will sustain us.
