There’s a verse in the sixth chapter of I Corinthians that says we have the right to do anything, but not everything is beneficial to us. Rights should never be confused with responsibilities. As mature believers, we have a responsibility toward our new brothers and sisters in the Lord to provide them with examples that won’t lead them astray. We have a responsibility to ourselves to not engage in behavior that might bring destruction to our relationship with Christ. If we harbor a servant heart rather than a selfish heart, we’ll likely make the right choices for ourselves and our fellow believers. Perhaps a rule of comma usage applies here: When in doubt, leave it out! *smile*
