Since Easter is fast approaching, why not continue our theme of “victory in Jesus”? The story of the centurion is one of victorious hope. This man recognized his own failings and unworthiness, and he also recognized who Jesus was. He held no presumption, but he put his full hope in Jesus’ ability to restore his servant to health. Jesus is our only Hope. Whatever trial we are facing, He holds our victory. Sometimes we’ll see the victory on earth; other times we’ll understand its purpose when we reach Heaven. Regardless, my hope is built on nothing less than JESUS and His authority.
