His peace

Recently I had the opportunity to spend a weekend with a group of women from Liberal, Kansas, for a spiritual retreat. One of the things we discussed was ways of growing stronger in our relationship with God. One of the women suggested adopting an attitude of gratitude. She was spot on. When we start looking at the things Christ has done for us and openly thanking Him for them, our hearts change. They become more peaceful, more aware of His presence in every aspect of our lives. There is no doubt this world can be chaotic. We can’t change “the world,” but we can change how we live in it. Thankfulness leads to peacefulness. Let His peace control your heart.
