I spent a lot of years as a 5th grade teacher. Absolutely loved it. Loved the kids. All the kids. Although, admittedly, some had a way of weaseling their way into my heart a little deeper than others (even though I did my utmost not to play favorites!). God, on the other hand, doesn’t show favoritism. No matter where we’ve been, no matter what we’ve done, when we come to Him in faith He holds open His arms and welcomes us in. Remember the song? “The vilest offender who truly believes, that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.” Never worry you aren’t good enough or smart enough or whatever enough for God. Salvation is equally available to all. (Photo compliments of Phoebe Janzen)
