He knows

I adopted much of Philippians 4 nearly two decades ago and asked God to plant them deep in my heart and let them show in my behavior. Worrying was always a hard thing for me to overcome. But on September 20, 2004, I made a commitment to place my concerns in His hands rather than stewing. And you know what? I haven’t had a stomach ulcer in twelve years. I wish I’d done better about praying–thanking Him for His presence in the past and trusting Him to guide me in the future–when I was younger. Maybe I could have avoided those ulcers! But I have learned there is peace in trusting. I don’t always understand, but it’s nice to remember HE KNOWS.
