HOPE is “my” word. And my hope is built on my relationship with Jesus and the promises I know He will keep. Friends will fail you. Family might disown you. Co-workers might prove untrustworthy. But Jesus? He cannot and will not fail me. His Word gives me the assurance that when I accept Him as Lord and Savior and turn from self to serving Him, He will never “cut me loose.” Instead, He forgives me when I fail and then come to Him in repentance. He strengthens me when I am weak. He guides me when I am clueless. He is my calm in the midst of life’s storm. Best thing? I am His forever. His love will never let me go. To hope in anything else is futile. HE is our HOPE.
