Greatest joy

ps86.4TUE.001 2

I get a little weepy reading these words—the good kind of weepy. You see, I have learned that when I lift my soul to Him—open myself fully to Him in praise and adoration—joy always follows. Even in the midst of heartache, confusion, or fear, praise changes me. I know I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating: God inhabits praise. When I praise, His Spirit descends; in the presence of His Spirit, I experience a joy that can’t be explained but that I know is there. No hardship, no pain, no loss is greater than God’s ability to comfort and restore me. Knowing He is there and always will be is my greatest source of Joy.
