There’s something so bright and cheerful about sunflowers. I love how they lift their heads and follow the sun’s pathway as the day progresses. There’s a good lesson in there for us–trying to keep our eyes on the Son. The things is, when we stay focused on Him, the darkness and troubles of this world seem to fade. We become more aware of our blessings and we bask in the refreshment of His presence. In those moments when we feel lost and alone, it isn’t because God moved. We have a responsibility to seek Him again. Then, once more, we will find springs of water in what was once a desert place.
