Doing His will

We live in an “all about me” society. Things like “If it’s right for me, it’s right” or “If I believe it, it’s my truth” are pretty common thought processes. The problem is, neither of these statements are true, scripturally. Our flesh wants to make excuses for ungodly behaviors. Our flesh wants to satisfy the moment rather than store up treasures in heaven. No one ever said the Christian life would be easy. But is it worth it? I should say so! When the flesh tempts and pulls, seek to emulate Jesus. Jesus faced temptation but stayed strong. Jesus chose love over hatred. Jesus sought to do the will of the One who sent Him.

When you wake up each morning, plan to serve Him. This world needs to see examples of faithfulness.
