Prayer Room

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray…”

James 5:13-14; 16 ~
“Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord… The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” (NIV)

I believe strongly in the power of prayer. I believe God hears and answers all prayers. Sometimes He answers “yes”; other times He asks us to wait; and sometimes, in His infinite wisdom, He makes the choice to tell us “no.” But He invites us to bring our praises and petitions to Him–He welcomes our communication with Him.

God has convicted me to open myself as a prayer partner. In obedience to His calling, I have opened the “prayer room.” The prayer room is really a basket that rests on the corner of my desk. All prayer requests I receive go into the basket, and on Friday morning I take out the requests and lift them to the Heavenly Father.

If you would like for me to join you in prayer, please send me your praise or prayer need through email. Know that I will hold your request in confidence between myself and the Lord. Thank you for the opportunity to pray for you.
