‘Com in, my child!’

Yesterday I shared a fairly contemporary hymn written by Andrae Crouch. Only recently Reverend Crouch left this world and went on to His heavenly reward. I am sure he was welcomed with open arms and those much-desired words, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” None of us like to think about death, but it’s inevitable for all of us (unless the Lord comes first). How heartbreaking it must for God to look in His Book of Life when a soul reaches the gate and has to day, “I knew you not.” But how precious for Him when the name is there–when He can say, “Come in, my child!” I look forward to my welcome to heaven. How about you?
